Outfit Inspiration: Summer Festival Fashion

Summer is in full swing (complete with 104 degree weather)! And you know what that means. Lazy days at the beach, poolside fun time, and all the music festivals you can afford (or not afford) to attend. This year I’ll be checking out Chicago’s Pitchfork Music Festival. Pitchfork is one of my go to sources for new music finds; so I am beyond excited to attend this event. One day of awesomeness filled with sweltering heat, sick bands, and sweet festival fashion! After perusing some street fashion from last year’s festival via Refinery 29 and the Free People blog, I’ve deemed these looks as some of my personal favorites. These fashionable ladies and gents dressed to impress with denim cut-offs, plaid dresses, floral skirts, and printed vests. What’s not to love?

The Line-up:
Friday, July 13
Feist, Purity Ring, Dirty Projectors, Clams Casino, Big K.R.I.T., Japandroids, A$AP Rocky, Time Hecker, The Olivia Tremor Control, Lower Dens, Willis Earl Beal, Outer Minds.

Saturday, July 14
Grimes, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Danny Brown, Hot Chip, Chromatics, Sleigh Bells, Schoolboy Q, Wild Flag, Flying Lotus, Nicolas Jaar, Youth Lagoon, Cults, Liturgy, Atlas Sound, Lotus Plaza, Cloud Nothings, The Atlas Moth, The Psychic Paramount.

Sunday, July 15
Vampire Weekend, The Field, Beach House, King Krule, Araab Muzik, Chavez, Kendrick Lamar, Real Estate, The Men, Ty Segall, The Oh Sees, Iceage, Milk Music, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, A Lull, Dirty Beaches, Oneohtrix Point Never.

Denim shirt dress + leopard print Jeffrey Campbell Mary Roks wedges = O.O.A.T ❤

I am loving this sheer button up with it’s peter pan collar. Paired with the denim shorts it’s a classic!

This chick is rockin out in style with this printed backpack. A personal festival must-have!

For those of you that can’t attend, Pitchfork provides a live stream of the event via their Youtube page. How awesome is that?
