Project Style 2012
Richmond area stylist and friend Jameson Deloatch has entered into a style competition through Short Pump Town Center!!! Here are the deets:
Project Style is an online style competition in which fashionable ladies and gents from across the country compete for the chance to win a $1000 shopping spree and a grand prize trip to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in NYC!
This year’s Project Style competition will be hosted by Project Runway’s Nick Verreos and Jeannie Mai, host of “How Do I Look?” Five finalists will battle it out in a live Style Off fashion event at the mall, with a chance to win a $1,000 shopping spree. The winning stylist from each participating mall’s Style Off will then compete in a National Style Off where Nick and Jeannie will help select one national winner to attend Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Bonus prize! Nick will take the Grand Prize winner on a shopping district tour of Soho and design a personal wardrobe sketch.
Each contestant simply has to pick out an outfit that epitomizes their personal style with a free $150 gift card, post it to the website with pics and a video, and let the voting begin! Check out Jameson’s entry below.
Jameson’s Style Inspiration
I enjoy following trends however, it is my aesthetic to combine diverse and non stereotypical additions to those trends. While my love for black is grand I also enjoy the use of color and am a fiend for a large bow and a gaudy accessory. If it sets me apart “fashionably” from the average I am ALL for it, I enjoy being able to create a new personality to coexist with each and every outfit I choose to wear daily. You are only given one chance at life, I believe you should WEAR it to the fullest…
